First Buddha Beds mattress problem!

 Had my first Buddha Beds online mattress problem yesterday. 


A lady had ordered a honeyB Galaxy mattress, sold as medium to firm rating mattress. (Be mindful with firm ratings as this can vary depending on your weight. If say someone at 25 stone lies on this it may not be that firm. If someone at 10 stones lies on it, it may feel very firm). 


But anyhow the lady ordered it, slept on it for a few nights and says it's too firm for her and to be honest said a few things that really pulled on my heart strings also. You know me with the Big Buddha heart and all that, you'll not get compassion from the big corporations! 


So I refunded the lady instantly and told her to give the mattress to charity. 


My mattresses come compressed and shipped by courier. Once they are out of the box and expanded it would cost me more than the mattress to get returned. So best I just refund and take it on the chin. 


I'm trying to build a new business from scratch here and I know if this was bought from a bigger company the customer service or returning of the mattress would not be so simple. Months you'll wait and have to write letters and all that.

Been in the mattress business 25 years, I know  how they operate. 


Some mattress compaines will even send out an independent checker to test the mattress. all these big companies have many false promises. 


But not me, I just like to get the things done and dusted and keep my customers happy. 

Approx 4 more mattresses I will have to sell now to make up for this. 


Sometimes though being independent and down to earth can be a disadvantage, seen many times customers would order a bed from ikea and a mattress from me. 

UK King mattresses do not fit and ikea king bed. So what does the customer do? 

Many say to me can I give them a refund as they ordered the wrong sized mattress.

They never think to return the ikea one. 

It's always easier to sort problems with the local down to earth independent business who is trying so hard to earn a living. 


It's not easy out there guys for independent businesses, the big corporations are swallowing up everything. 


I have to laugh at times when local politicians come on saying how good it is for our economy that big name stores are coming to town. Has any of these people even an economic brain in their heads. They think it's great becuse of the back handers and donations to their parties, that's all! 

These big corporations are mostly foreign, they are like a hoover sucking up all are cash and sending it abroad. Overtime this is the worse thing ever for our economy!

Buddha Beds!!!

 Good morning guys, most of you have probably seen my disheartened post the other day about me feeling a bit down on the financial side of things to do with the Phantom Planter. I've been trying for so long now to earn a decent living from it to help fuel my passion in what I'm doing. There's nothing more I'd love to be doing than going round phantom planting fruit trees and maintaining them, getting my free fruit tree map app all updated and promoting it also so everyone can have free fresh fruit. I also have plans for my Oak Grove museum and several other community and nature projects I had on my mind. But for the past while I've been spending hours every day doing all sorts of work to do with the phantom planter and It's always been in the back of my head at times, what am I doing?? Onlyfans definitely gets some attention!

 From I've been saying that I'm on Onlyfans I've a lost a few hundred followers on my main phantom planter Facebook page. And the posts on it have a attracted many negative comments from people who seemed to know alot about life story and phantom planting antics, these are people that have been reading all my previous posts in depth and have never commented once before as I do read nearly all the comments and show my gratitude and if its a negative comment I just give them a hug. But it just shows you how many people are reading your posts with venom, just waiting until you put a foot wrong then give off. Then they announce they're departure commenting "Unfollowed." Look guys I'm really not going to lose any sleep over it and its certainly not going to distract me from my mission and soul purpose.
