Anyone want to help out South Belfast?

 Good morning guys,

If anyone in the Belvoir estate area or South Belfast would like to come and help out at the Phantom Planters HQ to pull back grass from around our fruit trees please feel free too.

Pop down anytime you want and work away just like I'm doing in the video.

If you dont know where it is Google search Belvoir Memorial Orchard.

Doing this can really help prevent disease giving the lower parts of the trunk the ventilation it needs and pulling away the weeds and grass thats competing with the tree is a big help too.

Please guys if anyone is going to do this to always do it by hand, no strimmers or lawnmowers to be used here, This orchard is a utopia for all life.

Just yesterday as I was pulling the grass back from one of the trees this massive frog was hibernating at the base of the tree, this orchard is home for all life.

No pesticides/herbicides are to be used here also, keep it real, keep it natural.

I'm a great believer that we must listen to nature, if a tree gets diseased and doesn't survive or gets ate by bugs and insects, its not meant to be there. Plant something that is!

I never lost any sleep over spending a few hundred quid on a night out on drink and drugs. I'm not going to loose any sleep over paying for the price of an apple tree to be replaced.

I've noticed at this orchard the amount of life thats came to it from working with nature and not being at war with it.

Nature is like a chain or command, once you kill one bug you deter other bugs like ladybirds that may come into eat that, and another that will come and it that one. Don't mess up the chain!

The slugs also bring in the frogs and many other varieties of birds and there has even been owls and jays spotted at our orchard!

I seen one Jay sitting on the branch of an apple tree eating an apple last summer.

There is enough to go around and anyhow every tree I plant is an offering to nature. wasps, bugs and birds, "fill your boots" as I'm not stopping planting and chanting.

We all need to be more mindful about how we interact with the creation. There is so much mental and physical suffering going on around us, I believe one of the main causes of this is we are taking too much from nature and not returning.

We are part of the creation, made up of the elements around us and most of us have bitten off more than we can chew that we are acquiring huge amounts of Karmic debt.

Never mind what others are doing, its what you are doing that matters.

Everything happening around us I believe is karma being played out, we should try not interfere or get caught up with it. We should try and project our own positive light into the world.

"Do not give your attention to what others do or fail to do; give it to what you do or fail to do." Buddha....

Have a good day guys.

Peace and love
