About another 20 apple trees planted.
Must have planted another 20 apple trees yesterday. The variety was a native Irish apple called kemp.
This is going to be lifelong learning project for me, from start to finish this whole orchard has been created by us.
It was us that selected the cuttings, the rootstock, grafted them together and nurtured for a year in a polytunnel.
Now these apple trees have been planted out in what is now called Lisnabreeny Community Orchard.
Even all the memorial and tree names tags have been hand stamped by us.
Its amazing what we can create when we direct our energies in life in a more positive way.
The other day I went for a dander and I seen these hawthorn saplings I phantom planted about 3 years ago.
I must have planted around 30 of them.
When I stumbled across them in the wild bigger than me the other day I couldn't believe it.
I got this amazing feeling in me seeing them all thrive!
What was special about these hawthorn trees aka Fairy trees is they were given to me at a winter solstice gathering at Newgrange, the oldest believed tomb in the world.
A guy that follows me just handed me a whole bunch of the saplings and now they are thriving up in the Belfast Buddhahood!
Funny you remember all these stories attached with the trees.
Phantom planting trees guys is pretty special. For me it's doing my bit for a better world. Its something we are all able to do.
I challenge you to phantom plant a tree!
Peace and love
The Phantom Planter
