First tree planted yesterday!
Yesterday we planted the first memorial tree at our new community orchard.
My Big Pal came over from Scotland with his mum to plant the first tree in our orchard in memory of his dad who just passed away last year.
They brought his ashes over with them on the boat and added them in with the tree.
I think this is such a special thing to do, over time the ashes of my big pals dad will become part of the tree and one day him and his family can eat apples from it.
It was a pretty special moment to mark the first tree in our new heritage Irish community/memorial orchard.
I think we will name this new orchard
"Lisnabreeny Community Orchard"
as its in a place called Lisnabreeny just outside South Belfast and Lisnabreeny means in Irish "Fort of the Fairy dwelling".
Whats pretty cool about this also is one of the guys who came to help out yesterday, he makes fairy houses and leaves them around the forests as a hobby of his, and when I told him what Lisnabreeny translates too, he was like, there is way too much woo woo stuff going on between us.
This was the guy who made me my walking staff and carved my name "The Phantom Planter" in it using the Ogham tree alphabet. We have had many weird and wonderful quantum entanglements occur between us.
Was great you could come along big man, thank you!
He said he is going to make fairy houses and leave them around our new orchard. This will be amazing for kids and the fairies too!
I've got my gallop back now alright and cant wait to get all 300 native Irish apple trees planted here. We planted 5 yesterday. This place is going to be something special when we're finished.
Thanks to everyone that came along to help out yesterday and I'd like to pay a special thanks to the lovely couple who has donated their land for this very special project.
There is some real good people in this world and from I've changed my life in trying to live more good, I'm seeing and connecting to so many salt of the earth souls.
What we put out comes back. Our thoughts, speech and actions are altering the world around us. And these 3 things belong to us and its our choice how we use them.
I was listening to a Guru I follow the other week there and he said when you work with the Dharma ( the cosmic law of the universe) everything will be provided for you along the way. The Phantom Planter is and always has been my Dharma practice and from I've started this tree planting mission the magic and synchronicities thats unfolded in my life has been unreal. This guru ain't lying!
I challenge you all to phantom plant a tree today. Do your bit for nature and community!
Peace and Love...
