Lucky Money!

 You know your selling a good mattress when the customer does a 200 mile round trip just to buy from you. This lady had already bought one of the HoneyB Galaxy pillowtops from me many years ago and said she wouldn't buy another mattress other than this and she wouldn't buy from anyone else other than myself. Her whole family she said is sleeping in a mattress from myself.

I believe there are 2 types of money to be made out there. lucky money and unlucky money. 

Most of my life I made unlucky money, to be honest I conned so many people in the past selling all my dodgy goods, I've even got a criminal record for deception!

Business is the biggest lying game in the world is what my Delboy Dad always said. My deceptive level of selling was nothing on my Delboy Dad though! 

He was the master at that and was pretty famous in Belfast among the underworld circles.

He had enthusiasm like no one I've ever seen!

Later on in my spiritual path I learned that enthusiasm is one of our most powerful energies and that when we are enthused about what we are doing anything is possible.

I always feel someway that my dad was maybe immune to the negative karmic effects of his dodgy and deceptive ways. 

He was like Robin Hood, he looked after everyone around him. My dad used to make 3-4 dinners most nights and bring them round to people. Never did he miss checking in on people in need and was always there to help everyone. He done a lot of good as well as a lot of dodgy hustling but I think he kept his karma in balance without knowing it. 

Anyhow many years ago I knew nothing about karma and all I wanted was millions!

Even in my house clearance business I wasnt honest with people. Often if I seen things in the house of value when pricing the jobs I would be hiding certain antiques that I knew was worth money, deluding the customer saying,

That grandfather clock is worth a fortune, you need to get that checked out. Which many always think it'll be the big clock or piano worth a fortune but the Rene Lalique vase in the dresser is were the real cash is!

Most of business is deceptive, but all that unlucky money as I see it as is creating negative karma and polluting us. 

We dont see it at the time, but when I look back and analyse my state of being then, how I felt inside, I was an anxious paranoid mess fueling my body with excessive desires daily. 

I believe this monopoly board we are all tricked into playing is finely tuned to corrupt the soul.

A game of digits that never end! 

I've seen what unlucky money did to me in the past and I know what lucky money has did to me today. It takes a lot longer to build up a business being straight and honest but I always say if your not forking out on cocaine and hookers every week or other self gratifications thats costing you a fortune, anyone can build up a good reputable business if we keep our spending habits in check!

What happens though is our ego takes over and we loose track of what really matters, many aren't in business to live a good life, they are in business for their ego, to say how many shops they have, or how many workers they have or how many properties etc. Its not about how they feel deep down, they are caught in a rat race. Like I was for most of my life until I found the Buddha Pace and dropped out of the chase.

Its all mad out there!

These days though for the past 10 years I've been selling 2 types of mattresses, the HoneyB Galaxy and the HoneyB Balmoral.

I know the customers love them and they are very reasonably priced. Treating my customers these days as another human rather than a digit is most important to me also.

I'm not out for millions anymore and I dont want shops all over the country either, I just want to sell a good product, live my life humbly and plant trees.
